Pure South

Pure South is probably one of Melbourne’s best restaurant success stories.   It’s a favourite recommend for many of the hotel concierges in the city and our guests love this place.  The formula is perfect, an elegant restaurant with a garden terrace, city and river views and a perfect menu made up of ingredients sourced from King Island and Tasmania.  No wonder the tourist and locals alike flock here in droves.

The charming Philip Kennedy has been running this successful restaurant with its proven formula for over 10 years.  Pure South serves great steaks with an excellent supporting menu bursting with fresh quality ingredients from one of the best food producing regions in the world.  The menu includes beautiful seafood, pasta, lamb and salads with an excellent wine list featuring some of Australia’s best wines.  The restaurant ticks every box including one unexpected one, it’s great value as well.
